*Please read below for information on how to get your Zoom link if you purchase a webinar.  You will NOT be emailed a link automatically.  You must fill out the very short Zoom form to get your link after purchasing any webinar from us. Freestone does not have the ability to link to Zoom automatically. Also, if you fill out the Zoom form and don't get the success screen, check your email (including your spam folder) for the Zoom link, as sometimes browsers don't display that final page correctly, but the registration was captured by Zoom.

  2. Click on "My Courses" in the left hand blue column.

  3. Click on the webinar you wish to register for from your list of Purchased CLE Programs.

  4. Fill out the short Zoom registration sheet and click on “Register” to complete.

  5. You will then receive an email from Zoom, which will have your personal link to access the webinar.

  6. If you get an error message, please try clearing your browser’s cache or try a different browser. If your browser still doesn’t display the form correctly, please contact our office.

Important Information Regarding Registration

  1. Do not wait until 2 minutes before the webinar to register with Zoom if possible, as you cannot log in until you get the email from Zoom and while email is usually instantaneous, we all know that isn’t always the case.

  2. You must be watching the webinar in order to get credit.  Most states accredit webinars differently than other formats and in order to get webinar credit, you must be watching, not just listening using the audio only link.

  3. There will be poll questions every hour, as many states require them.  If you don’t answer the poll question and your state requires them, we can’t award credit for that hour.  The poll questions are NOT obscure, as Joel always announces them before he runs them, and he reads them out loud.  If your state requires you answer them, please don’t miss them.  Please note that you will not be able to answer poll questions if you are using an audio only link, which is another reason you need to be WATCHING (not just listening to audio only version) the video presentation.

Written Materials

Written materials are available in your COL account after you have purchased a webinar.

How to Get Credit for the Webinar

  1. All webinar certificates are done by hand, so you will not get them when the webinar is over.  We have to cross reference your log in and log out times and your poll questions to figure out how much credit you earned.

  2. You will receive your certificate of attendance within two weeks of the webinar and it will be sent to the email address you used when you registered with Zoom for the webinar.

  3. The bar information you enter into Zoom is the bar information that will be on your certificate of attendance. Please be sure that information is correct.

  4. We cannot submit attendance to states that we did not have the webinar approved in. We also do not produce certificates of attendance for states that the webinar was not approved in, without a special request. If you want one with another state info on it, please let us know by email at info@comedianoflaw.com. Please note that the certificate will only note the additional bar information, no other information will change as the course wasn’t approved in the state.

  5. If you are submitting your COL hours to another state (that COL didn’t have prior approval in) and they request a timed agenda, course description and/or speaker biography, please let us know by email at info@comedianoflaw.com and we will be happy to send you that information.

  6. Comedian of Law will report to all states that the course was approved in, that are provider report states.  If your state is a self-reporting state (like FL, IA or MO for example), we will not report your hours .  Hours are usually reported to states right before certificates of attendance are emailed.
